Where should an arc roll be installed?
Immediately before a nip or a winder — the point where a wrinkle would otherwise be pressed in permanently.
How is bow height selected?
By web width and how much spread is needed. Wider webs and stretchy grades need more bow, but too much bow causes edge flutter and baggy centres.
